The Sampling Of Existing Documentation Information Technology Essay
The Sampling Of Existing Documentation Information Technology Essay System analyst uses sampling techniques in order to organize the above documentation. Sampling technique is the process of combing a representative sample of documents, form and records (Bentley, Whitten, 2007). According to these authors there are two commonly used sampling techniques namely randomization and stratification. Randomization is the process of selecting sample data randomly. Stratification is the systematic process to deduct the variance of sampling data. We can have better understanding of the system due to the analysis of existing documents, forms, files related to the current system. JRP is the structured group work meeting to identify, analyze problems and define the requirements of system. JRP is becoming increasingly common in systems planning and systems analysis to obtain group consensus on problems, objectives and requirements (Bentley and Whitten; 2007). JRP can tabulate the facts efficiently in a short time and it can also replace in the place of numerous and separate interviews. JRP contains different participants with each specialized roles to perform structured meeting. JRP participants include sponsor, facilitator, users and managers, scribes and IT staff. Sponsor is an individual in top management, who has full authority to decide who will be participants, time and location of JRP session. The role of facilitator is to lead JRP session, motivate participants, solve conflicts and meet the requirements of meeting during the JRP session. Users in JRP session are responsible for rules and requirement of business, prototype, and satisfactory decisions. An d Managers are responsible for projects, schedules and costs and training requirements. Scribes job is to record everything discussed in the meeting. IT staff responsible for models and documentation concerning with facts during the discussion. JRP is formed different individuals with various roles and covers both in users and in management levels. JRP saves time to develop systems as it is not required one-on-one interviewing of each participant within the organization. When JRP incorporates prototyping as a means for confirming requirements and obtaining design approvals, the benefits of prototyping are realized (Bentley and Whitten; 2007). In this paper we discussed about the seven fact-finding techniques based on studying our text book and some articles. During our assignment, we become to understand that if the system analyst knows details of fact-finding techniques, they can get knowledge of gathering the required information to develop the current system.

Bachs Art of the Fugue :: Art of the Fugue Essays
The silence hangs heavily in the air, creating a single moment where one can feel the weight of the absence of sound. But a lone D cuts through the stillness, a flicker of light amidst black oblivion. It is followed by eleven other notes, a simple melody, but one that will be the very core of one of the greatest musical masterpieces to ever be conceived. This twelve-note melody becomes entwined and enveloped in an intricate accretion of variations, counterpoints, and modified themes, all based on the original twelve-note motif. The entire collection of variations comprises what is considered to be Bachââ¬â¢s most ambitious undertaking, the Art of the Fugue, meant to serve as an intensive study of the fugue as an entity. Already a complex and multifaceted piece, Art of the Fugue gains a whole new level of depth and significance when placed inside its historical context, amidst the story of its creation and the demise of its creator. During the two hundred and fift y years of its existence, Art of the Fugue has acquired quite the reputation, as it has become enshrouded in a web of mystery and mystique. However, when we strip away these layers, the piece retains its magnitude, as the sheer mastery of the piece is enough to merit substantial renown and reverence. In the early 1740ââ¬â¢s, Bach began work on what many consider to be his most monumental project ever, Art of the Fugue. Bach intended this piece to be an extensive study of ââ¬Å"the art of fugal counterpoint,â⬠exploring the possibilities and various outcomes that can be produced by manipulating a single theme (ââ¬Å"The Art of the Fugueâ⬠). Bach was not commissioned to compose this piece, nor was the idea inspired or suggested to him by anyone else; in creating Art of the Fugue, Bach was ââ¬Å"alone in his geniusâ⬠(Herz, 4-5). The result of Bachââ¬â¢s endeavors was a collection of eighteen fugues, all in the same key, and all based on the same principle theme. This principle theme was modified and transformed into an astonishing number of over twenty different major variations and one hundred minor variations (ââ¬Å"The Art of the Fugueâ⬠).

Night World : The Chosen Chapter 17
Hunter's yacht was bigger than the powerboat Quinn had brought to the island. There was a salon down in the cabin and two separate staterooms. Right now, Timmy was in one of them. Nyala was in another. Quinn had put them both to sleep. Quinn and Rashel were in the cockpit. ââ¬Å"Do you think any of the vampires got out?â⬠Rashel said softly. ââ¬Å"I don't know. Probably.â⬠His voice was as quiet as hers. He was filthy, covered with sand and soot, burned here and there, and wildly disheveled. He had never looked more beautiful to Rashel. ââ¬Å"You saved Nyala,â⬠she whispered. ââ¬Å"And I know you did it for me.â⬠He looked at her and some of the tense focus went out of his eyes. The hardness in his face softened. Rashel took his hand. She didn't know how to say the rest of what she meant. That she knew he had changed, that he was changing every minute. She could almost feel the new parts of his mind opening and growing-or rather, the old parts, the parts he'd deliberately left behind when he stopped being human. ââ¬Å"Thank you, John Quinn,â⬠she whispered. He laughed. It wasn't a savage laugh, or a bitter laugh, or even the charming Mad Hatter laugh. It was just a real laugh. Tired and shaky, but happy. ââ¬Å"What else could I do?â⬠Then he reached for her and they were holding each other. They might look like two refugees from a disaster movie, but all Rashel felt was the singing joy of their closeness. It was such comfort to be able to hold on to Quinn, and such wonder to feel him holding her back. A feeling of peace stole over her. There were still problems ahead. She knew that. Her mind was already clicking through them, forming a dim checklist of things to worry about when she regained the ability to worry. Hunter and the other vampires. They might still be alive. They might come looking for revenge. But even if they didâ⬠¦ Rashel had spent her whole life fighting the Night World alone. Now she had Quinn beside her, and together they could take on anything. Daphne and the girls. Rashel felt sure they were safe; she trusted Annelise and Keiko. But once they got home, they'd be traumatized. They would need help. And someone would need to figure out what they should tell the rest of the world. Not that anyone would believe it was real vampires who had kidnapped them if they said so, Rashel thought. The police would pass it off as a cult or something. Still, the girls know the truth. They may be fresh recruits for the fightâ⬠¦. Against what? How could she be a vampire hunter now? How could she try to destroy the Night World? Where could a reformed vampire and a burned-out vampire hunter go when they fell in love? The answer, of course, was obvious. Rashel knew even as she formed the question, and she laughed silently into Quinn's shoulder. Circle Daybreak. They'd become damned Daybreakers. Granted, they weren't the type to dance in circles with flowers in their hair, singing about love and harmony and all that. But if Circle Daybreak was going to make any headway, it needed something besides love and harmony. It needed a fighting arm. Somebody to deal with the vampires who were hopelessly evil and bent on destruction. Somebody to save people like Nyala's sister. Somebody to protect kids like Timmy. Come to think of it, Circle Daybreak was where Nyala and Timmy belonged, too. Right now they need peace and healing, and people who would understand what they'd been through. I don't know, Rashel thought, maybe witches can help. She hoped so. She thought Nyala would be all right-there was a kind of inner strength to the girl that kept her fighting. She wasn't so sure about Timmy. Trapped in a four-year-old body, his mind twisted by whatever lies Hunter had told himâ⬠¦ what kind of normal life could he ever have? But he was alive, and there was a chance. And maybe there were parts of his mind that were bright and warm and aching to grow. Elliot and Vicky and the other vampire hunters. Rashel would have to talk to them, try to explain what she'd learned. She didn't know if they'd listen. But she would have to try. ââ¬Å"All anybody can do is try,â⬠she said softly. Quinn stirred. He leaned back to look into her face. ââ¬Å"You're right,â⬠he said, and she realized that he'd been thinking about the same things. Our minds work alike, she thought. She had found her partner, her equal, the one to work and live and love with her. Her soulmate. ââ¬Å"I love you, John Quinn,â⬠she said. And then they were kissing each other and she was finding in him a tenderness that even she hadn't suspected. But it made sense. After all, the opposite of absolute ruthlessness is absolute tenderness-and when you ripped the one away, you were left with the other. I wonder what else I'll find out about him? She thought, dizzy with discovery. Whatever it is, it's sure to be interesting. ââ¬Å"I love you, Rashel Jordan,â⬠he said against her lips. Not Rashel the Cat. The Cat was dead, and all the old anger and the hate had burned away. It was Rashel Jordan who was starting a new future. She kissed Quinn again and felt the beauty and the mystery of his thoughts. ââ¬Å"Hold me tighter,â⬠she whispered. ââ¬Å"I'm a little cold.â⬠ââ¬Å"You are? I feel so warm. It's spring tomorrow, you know.â⬠And then they both were quiet, lost in each other. The boat sped on through the sparkling ocean and into the promise of the moonlit night.. [The End]

Strength Training Exercises For Children - 1020 Words
In his New York Times article ââ¬Å"Strength Training as a Family Affair,â⬠Anahad Oââ¬â¢Conner takes a step into the debate whether children should participate in strength training exercises. With being with New York Times since 2003 writing articles relating to science, health, and nation issues, Oââ¬â¢Conner has a understanding of this ongoing topic. Doctors have ââ¬Å"Warnedâ⬠parents to keep their children out of the weight room, but ââ¬Å"Whyâ⬠he asks. In this op-ed article, Oââ¬â¢Conner does what he does best, and develops reasoningââ¬â¢s on strength training exercises for children. In his op-ed article, Anahad Oââ¬â¢Conner urges children to begin strength training at a younger age. There are about 30 million children participating in organized sports, and three to four million of those children are getting injured. This does not point to the lack of muscle strength, but strengthening of specific muscles is going to leave the children less vu lnerable. ââ¬Å"Number of studies show that strengthening the muscles around the knee reduces risk of knee injuriesâ⬠. Knee injuries are very common in young children, and starting strength training will help prevent those specific injuries. We are not looking to build muscle, but are looking for more of very light weight with higher reps, or even body weight exercises. Children that have seen doctors were told to just rest up, and take it easy. They decided to get another approach, and were told to starting strengthening, and they were back in no time with veryShow MoreRelatedThe Effects Of Exercise Training On Functional Performance1000 Words à |à 4 PagesEffects of Combined Exercise Training on Functional Performance in Children with Cerebral Palsy: A Randomized Controlled Study Spring 2017 EPR 214-QL Professional Reflection Brandon England The University of Alabama at Birmingham PROCEDURAL SUMMARY My Professional Reflection summarizes the procedures and statistics used in a randomized controlled study on the Effects of Combined Exercise Training on Functional Performance in Children with Cerebral Palsy.
