The Sampling Of Existing Documentation Information Technology Essay System analyst uses sampling techniques in order to organize the above documentation. Sampling technique is the process of combing a representative sample of documents, form and records (Bentley, Whitten, 2007). According to these authors there are two commonly used sampling techniques namely randomization and stratification. Randomization is the process of selecting sample data randomly. Stratification is the systematic process to deduct the variance of sampling data. We can have better understanding of the system due to the analysis of existing documents, forms, files related to the current system. JRP is the structured group work meeting to identify, analyze problems and define the requirements of system. JRP is becoming increasingly common in systems planning and systems analysis to obtain group consensus on problems, objectives and requirements (Bentley and Whitten; 2007). JRP can tabulate the facts efficiently in a short time and it can also replace in the place of numerous and separate interviews. JRP contains different participants with each specialized roles to perform structured meeting. JRP participants include sponsor, facilitator, users and managers, scribes and IT staff. Sponsor is an individual in top management, who has full authority to decide who will be participants, time and location of JRP session. The role of facilitator is to lead JRP session, motivate participants, solve conflicts and meet the requirements of meeting during the JRP session. Users in JRP session are responsible for rules and requirement of business, prototype, and satisfactory decisions. An d Managers are responsible for projects, schedules and costs and training requirements. Scribes job is to record everything discussed in the meeting. IT staff responsible for models and documentation concerning with facts during the discussion. JRP is formed different individuals with various roles and covers both in users and in management levels. JRP saves time to develop systems as it is not required one-on-one interviewing of each participant within the organization. When JRP incorporates prototyping as a means for confirming requirements and obtaining design approvals, the benefits of prototyping are realized (Bentley and Whitten; 2007). During the two hundred and fift y years of its existence, Art of the Fugue has acquired quite the reputation, as it has become enshrouded in a web of mystery and mystique. However, when we strip away these layers, the piece retains its magnitude, as the sheer mastery of the piece is enough to merit substantial renown and reverence. In the early 1740’s, Bach began work on what many consider to be his most monumental project ever, Art of the Fugue. Bach intended this piece to be an extensive study of â€Å"the art of fugal counterpoint,† exploring the possibilities and various outcomes that can be produced by manipulating a single theme (â€Å"The Art of the Fugue†). Bach was not commissioned to compose this piece, nor was the idea inspired or suggested to him by anyone else; in creating Art of the Fugue, Bach was â€Å"alone in his genius† (Herz, 4-5). The result of Bach’s endeavors was a collection of eighteen fugues, all in the same key, and all based on the same principle theme. A prime number is a numeral that is greater than 1 and cannot be divided evenly by any other number except 1 and itself. If a number can be divided evenly by any other number not counting itself and 1, it is not prime and is referred to as a composite number. Factors vs. Multiples When working with prime numbers, students should know the difference between factors and multiples. These two terms are easily confused, but factors are numbers that can be divided evenly into the given number, while multiples are the results of multiplying that number by another. Additionally, prime numbers are whole numbers that must be greater than one, and as a result, zero and 1 are not considered prime numbers, nor is any number less than zero. The number 2 is the first prime number, as it can only be divided by itself and the number 1. Using Factorization Using a process called factorization, mathematicians can quickly determine whether a number is prime. To use factorization, you need to know that a factor is any number that can be multiplied by another number to get the same result. For instance, the prime factors of the number 10 are 2 and 5 because these whole numbers can be multiplied by one another to equal 10. However, 1 and 10 are also considered factors of 10 because they can be multiplied by one another to equal 10. In this case, the prime factors of 10 are 5 and 2, since both 1 and 10 are not prime numbers. An easy way for students to use factorization to determine if a number is prime is by giving them concrete counting items like beans, buttons, or coins. They can use these to divide objects into ever-smaller groups. For example, they could divide 10 marbles into two groups of five or five groups of two. Using a Calculator After using the concrete method as described in the previous section, students can use calculators and the concept of divisibility to determine whether a number is prime. Have students take a calculator and key in the number to determine whether it is prime. The number should divide into a whole number. For example, take the number 57. Have students divide the number by 2. They will see that the quotient is 27.5, which is not an even number. Now have them divide 57 by 3. They will see that this quotient is a whole number: 19. So, 19 and 3 are factors of 57, which is, then, not a prime number. Other Methods Another way to find if a number is prime is by using a factorization tree, where students determine the common factors  of multiple numbers. For instance, if a student is factoring the number 30, she could begin with 10 x 3 or 15 x 2. In each case, she continues to factor—10 (2 x 5) and 15 (3 x 5). The end result will yield the same prime factors: 2, 3, and 5 because 5 x 3 x 2 30, as does 2 x 3 x 5. Simple division with pencil and paper can also be a good method for teaching young learners how to determine prime numbers. First, divide the number by 2, then by 3, 4, and 5 if none of those factors yields a whole number. This method is useful to help someone just starting out to understand what makes a number prime.

Gattaca is carefully constructed using a lot of symbolism that is obvious to some viewers and others will pick up on in time. The characters names all have a hidden meaning, Eugene symbolises the concept eugenics, Vincent’s valid brother named Anton means pure, ideal or perfect, Irene’s name means peace a fitting name for a honest, accepting character who often keeps the peace between characters and makes Vincent feel at peace with his true identity and finally Vincent Freeman symbolises his journey to become a free man once he has overcome all obstacles and made it to space. Viewers are positioned to accept the reading that we must either accept a genetic future or humanity as it already is. The world of Gattaca values Genetic Engineering Eugenics, Genoism, Social Order and Perfection. These values are underpinned by Gattacan people only socialising with people in the same genetic class as them and are honoured by the friendship of those in higher classes. The quality of your genes determines your position in the world, â€Å"blood has no nationality†. This idea of perfection is clearly evident throughout and heavily impacts viewers raising questions about the burden of perfection. Gattaca was directed by Andrew Niccoll it was made to firstly make money as well as to shock audiences with a controversial comment on human condition. This film uses film techniques to its advantage they are used to make the viewer aware of the foreground, middle ground and background as well as creating tension, making the viewer feel as though they are in the action, adding variety and most commonly used in Gattaca to create drama and suspicion. This done by using extreme close ups, these create suspicion, drama and inform the viewer of what is happening this technique is exploited in Gattaca. The main character Vincent narrates the film; this positions you to view what is happening from his point of view, from an in-valid point of view. It instils the belief that Gattaca is a dystopian future. The characters are developed cleverly so that we as viewers can relate easily to many aspects of their personality. For example Vincent is the determined underdog, a position many of us have taken on at same point in our lives. This film is absurdly structured but the idea can be explained by the two quotes at the beginning of the film As night-fall does not come at once, neither does oppression It is in such twilight that we all must be aware of change in the air- however slight lest we become victims of the darkness. This acts as a warning about the second one I not only think that we will tamper with Mother Nature, I think Mother wants us to.
